The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the 3^rd TC307 Honour Lecture will be delivered by the Distinguished Professor Buddhima Indraratna, which represents a distinction for our community. This is a well‑deserved recognition of Professor Buddhima Indraratna’s outstanding scientific contributions and long‑standing commitment to geotechnics and sustainability.

The ICSGE 2027 Organizing Committee warmly thanks all authors for their enthusiastic response to the Call for Abstracts. More than 370 abstracts were received from across the world (Africa: 4, Asia: 93, Australasia: 18, Europe: 151, North America: 68, South America: 36), reflecting the strong interest and engagement of the international geotechnical engineering community in the conference and in the pursuit of a more sustainable future for our planet.

We are pleased to announce that the abstract submission deadline has been extended, for the final time, until the end of July 2026.
The Organising Committee hereby informs that the abstract submission deadline has been extended, in light of the significant number of prospective authors who indicated that they would only be able to submit their abstracts should the deadline be postponed.

A major milestone for the ICSGE 2027 Conference: its proceedings will be published in Open Access by the prestigious publisher Springer Nature, in the renowned Springer Series in Geomechanics and Geoengineering.

We are pleased to announce that the abstract submission deadline has been extended to 15 July 2026

Accepted papers will be included in an Open Access Conference book that will be proposed for indexing in Scopus and Web of Science (Publisher will be announced shortly).

A selection of the best papers will be published in Environmental Geotechnics (Emerald Publishing / ICE) and the Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (ASCE).

Abstract submission is now open until 15 June 2026.
